Maddie McCann breakthrough: Cops ‘given cash to probe new trafficking gang lead’
DETECTIVES hunting for Madeleine McCann have been handed more cash to investigate an “important” new lead, it has been reported.
The Met Police have reason to believe the missing girl was snatched by child sex traffickers it is claimed. The the timing of this announcement is very noteworthy in light of the recent revelations with John Podesta and Tony Podesta staying at the Freud villa just 300 yards away from where Maddie was abducted. This revelation came after wikileaks published all of John Podesta’s emails online which linked him to a pedophile ring based in the USA.
Whitehall officials have been consulted and the new information is being treated very seriously, the Sun on Sunday reports.
The paper claims Scotland Yard have been handed more money to look into the theory – raising hopes the British girl could still be alive. New funds mean the investigation can be extended until April next year, when it will be reviewed again.
