It is a very tragic week for Orlando. A family’s fun filled family vacation turned into a nightmare when a parents worst nightmare happened when their two year toddler was dragged into the water by a gator.
Deputies are searching for a child who was dragged into the water by an alligator near Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.
The child, who is about 2 years old, officials say, was dragged into the Seven Seas Lagoon about 9:30 p.m., Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Rose Silva said.
Deputies are searching the waters and put crime-scene tape around the water, WESH 2 News has learned.
Silva said the child has not been found.
