Were you aware that your children are more likely to be sexually assaulted at church or school than in a public bathroom? That in order to protect your children from such attacks you basically need to become Amish? Well according to proud lesbian, Patricia Todd (D-Al House of Representatives) in an op-ed opinion piece you should.
According to Rep. Todd in a piece titled “Get the facts on the transgender bathroom issue”:
When a person doesn’t conform to “traditional” norms, many of us are threatened simply because we don’t understand and it is human nature to fear what we don’t understand. We want an easy way to categorize people we meet; race, age, gender, size, etc. We want to fit people into boxes. Transgender folks don’t fit easily into those boxes and all too often, they are ostracized, teased, disrespected, harassed, and in the worst cases – of which there have been many – physically abused and murdered because of it.
What the hell? Don’t most “hate” crimes end up being staged by the LBGT themselves?
So for those too lazy to some investigating on your own, here some facts to consider:
- No evidence has been uncovered showing that fears of transgender persons and “the bathroom issue” are warranted. Several states, school districts and corporations have adopted their own policies affirming transgender people’s right to use the bathroom that aligns with their gender identity and have not reported problems, opponents of bathroom bills say. (Time Magazine, July 2015).
- In a study from UCLA’s Williams Institute, nearly 70% of transgender people said they had experienced verbal harassment in a situation involving gender-segregated bathrooms, while nearly 10% reported physical assault. Transgender people will often seek out unisex bathrooms to avoid conflict that makes them feel like they don’t belong in one space or the other.
- In fact, most child predators are male (The National Center for Victims of Crime) and The Child Molestation Research & Prevention Institute notes that90% of child molesters target children in their network of family and friends, and the majority are men married to women.
- The majority of child sexual assault occurs in locations where children gather, school, church, parks, etc.
Okay, first of all, if there was no need for concern can someone please explain the story about the creep who strangled the 8 year old in a public bathroom? But according to Todd, the MOTHER would have been at fault for that attack as she didn’t accompany her daughter into the bathroom:
“Most caring parents accompany their children to public bathrooms.”
Lovely… so if your child gets assaulted in a public bathroom it’s because you didn’t “care” enough about your child’s safety. Wait… I thought there was no threat to begin with. Is there or not?
“Pay attention. Just read al.com every morning and look at the child predators in our state. They are NOT transgender people. In fact, more and more are teachers, coaches and faith leaders.
So if you really want to protect your children from child predators, don’t take them to school, public parks, church or allow them to play sports or use the internet.
Get the point?”
Yeah, we get the point Patricia, we get that you are a classless femi-nazi who posts inappropriate pictures on your Facebook of your lesbian wife’s ass and your drying bras in the wash room.
You expect us to believe you know what’s best for us, our families and our children. Our church leaders and school teachers are more of a threat then your power-hungry, Hillary brown-nosing, social justice warrior ass is?
Give me a f*cking break. You can take that rainbow unicorn you’re riding on and ride it all the way to the sun cuz, damn it woman, you don’t live in reality. Then again you are a Hillary supporter, rainbows, vaginas, scandals and bold faced lies are your preference aren’t they?
